Making A Purchase

UK Customers
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order
We accept credit/debit card payment also Paypal using SagePay secure online payment facility and payment will be processed by SagePay at the time you place the order. We also accept Paypal Express.

Please note if paying by Paypal Express and you require delivery to an alternate address you will need to change your address on the Paypal screen to the new address.

International Customers
Important Information Please Read Fully
We welcome International orders. We charge delivery postage and packing at actual cost and to avoid delay in despatch we will charge the cost of delivery to your account up to a maximum of £25.00 without contacting you first
If the postage and packing charge is higher than £25.00 we will contact you by e mail for your authorisation before adding the charge to your account. If you consider the charge too expensive you may completely cancel the order and we will refund any payment already made for goods
As an example if we calculate a postage and packing charge to be £6.50, we will add this as an additional charge to your order via SagePay

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling

UK mainland carriage and packing charge for orders up to £99.99 is £3.95, by Royal Mail Post (smaller items) or via a courier service (larger / longer items). Or £8.99 by next working day Courier / Royal Mail Special Delivery on a next working day service. (Orders placed before 12.30pm)

All orders over £100 will be sent to your UK mainland delivery address FREE OF CHARGE, If you have specific delivery requirements, e.g urgent next day or Saturday then please e.mail us, or choose the next working day option at £8.99

Please note we are unable to offer a next working day delivery service to the following areas: Highlands & Islands of Scotland. Post Codes: IV, HS KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-41, PH49-50, ZE.
Northern Ireland, Isle Of Man & Isles Of Silly. Post Codes: BT, IM, TR21-25. Please choose our standard delivery option at checkout.
Your delivery may require a signiture on arrival therefore please do not request that items are left in sheds, bins, porches etc.

Important Note
UK Offshore customers (N.Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Scottish Islands), any item that may be sent by regular mail will be at the same delivery charge as a mainland order, however for oversized items, e.g kite buggies and boards, power kites, kites over 61 cm in length when packed, we will contact you before shipping to advise delivery options and costs.

International Customers
Important Information Please Read Fully

Delivery Schedule

Assuming the items ordered are in stock we will normally despatch your order to you within 2 to 3 working days, if there is going to be a delay with despatch in excess of 7 days we will attempt to contact you by e.mail.
(Please note: This means that we normally despatch the order from the warehouse within 2 to 3 working days, the time in transit to your address is in addition to this time).

Please note that Royal Mail is not a 'time guaranteed service' and can take up to approx 10 days to arrive (although it is usually around 2 to 3 days from date of posting) So if buying for a gift please bear this in mind

Due to very high demand certain popular items can sometimes be on longer delivery times dependant on time of year etc, if there is going to be an excessive delay we will keep you informed. We have extensive forward ordering of items we believe to be in high demand and always try and keep this delay to the minimum.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders

Should any item not be available at the time of despatch we will ship all items available at that time. Any items not actually shipped will be refunded. Please re-order items not in stock, we do not hold personal details to enable back ordering

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union or are destined for delivery within the European union prices include UK VAT at 20.0%
Orders placed in non EU countries and destined for delivery outside the EU are VAT exempt but it is your responsibility to click the exempt button to deduct the VAT,
You will be responsible for any duties or taxes that may be due in your country of import, we cannot advise on how much this would be and if in doubt you should contact your national Customs.

We cannot deliver VAT free to UK or EU addresses even if the order is placed outside the EU. If you check the box to exclude VAT on an order destined for delivery to an EU address (whether in error or deliberately) we will automatically charge the VAT element to your account before despatch

Credit Card Security

All online payments are processed securely by SagePay or PayPal


All of our products are covered by the standard manufacturers guarantee which will depend on the product concerned. In addition, for your peace of mind, we will offer you our Kiteworld Peace of Mind Warranty, whereby if you return the product to us in an unopened original condition with all original packaging within 7 working days of the receipt of your order, we will refund the cost of the goods to your account LESS any carriage charges relating to delivery to you or return to us. Please contact us either by e mail or phone/fax PRIOR to despatching goods back to us
This does not effect your statutory rights.
All Product Guarantees are valid for UK sales only.

IMPORTANT: Kites and Flying lines are breakable and we will not exchange or refund on kites or line that in our opinion have been missused or suffered accidental damage, e.g the kite has been flown in winds in excess of its designed maximum, or the kite has been crashed. Remember we have all at some time crashed kites and broken components, but in the majority of cases its simple and inexpensive to repair the damage and fly again. Please check weather forecasts before going out to fly.

Kiteworld is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers while providing the highest possible quality of service. Returns Policy

Kiteworld must be notified of all returns before despatch is made.Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that goods are insured against loss or damage in transit therefore we strongly recommend only sending returns using a trackable service such as recorded mail.
Refunds/exchanges can only be made if the goods are returned in an 'as supplied' new and unused condition.
This does not affect your statutory rights
Your rights to return goods are protected under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

You are entitled to cancel your order within 14 days and return the goods within a further 14 days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. Remittance Terms

Payment is required in full before despatch of goods from our warehouse, Our online payment service provider, SagePay will take your payment at the time you place the order if paying by debit or credit card or PayPal.
