Firefly Lanterns are authentic Chinese Lanterns. Traditional ‘Khoom Fay’ or ‘Khom Loy’ lanterns were invented 1800 years ago by Zhuge Liang of China. They are still widely used in the Far East today to help celebrate important events and to bring good luck. Perhaps you have seen them when travelling in China or Thailand at beach parties or festivals?

What are they for?

Well, primarily for fun, to celebrate, or perhaps to educate! Firefly Lanterns are a great addition or alternative to fireworks, so are great for releasing at BBQ's or parties. They also work really nicely at birthdays,weddings or any kind of family occasion.

Where and when can I launch?

As long as the wind is not overly strong, care is taken and the instructions are carefully followed, lanterns are a safe and enjoyable product.

While children will love to watch the display, Firefly Lanterns should only be released by a competent (and that means sober) adult
